Hierarchical Concelebration in Toronto

On Thomas Sunday, the Feast of Anti-Pascha (April 29/May 12, 2013), we were honored to welcome to Toronto, His Beatitude Archbishop Makarios of Athens, who concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with His Eminence Metropolitan Makarios of Toronto, His Grace Bishop Gregory of Brookline and His Grace Bishop Andrew of Markham at the Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas.

The heirarchical concelebration sealed the Eucharistic Unity recently established between the True Orthodox Church of Greece and the Holy Orthodox Church in North America.

This truly historic occasion doubled our Paschal joy and brought inestimable comfort to everybody present.

As announced earlier, Archbishop Makarios is also scheduled to visit Boston in order to concelebrate with our hierarchs on the Sunday of Myrrhbearers.

CHRIST IS RISEN! TRULY HE IS RISEN!
